About School
St. Aloysius School is one of the premier institutions in the state owned and established
by the Catholic Diocese of Jabalpur, and it is administered by the Diocese through the
Jabalpur Diocesan Educational Society,a registered body under the Society of Registraion
Act M.P. in 1968.
muted with the opening of a Mission Center in Birsingpur in 2000. Fr. Abraham Thazhathedath
purchased 8.10 acres of land for this purpose in Pali Project area (under Goraiah village) in April 2004.
The Construction of the Building started in January 2008 and St. Aloysius School,
Birsinghpur was founded on July 1, 2008. Fr. Dominic Thomas, the Manager of the school blessed the
new building (auditorium where the classes were held for the time being) and the school was inaugurated
in the presence of the students and their parents with lighting lamp by the headmistress
Rev. Sr. Florencia Samad OSU and four students who wete admitted first in the
school. The school commenced with LKG, UKG and Class I with a total strength of 96 students, 4 teachers and 2 non-teaching
staff on the rolls. On Sunday, February 8 2009 the foundation was laid for the construction of the school
building and the works started on the following day. Nursery, Class II and III started from the academic year 2009-2010.
